Pantone Classic Blue

Pantone’s 2020 Color of the Year + mudcloth inspired patterns = a winning combo!

When prompted with the challenge of making a pattern collection highlighting Classic Blue, a color that doesn’t typically grace the May Designs site, I creatively developed a way to make this color more palatable to the typical customer. I found that the bright, bold Classic Blue lent itself to the monochromatic mudcloth inspired patterns that had recently gained popularity in fabric design.
